Chester gave an entertaining talk about his career as an educator, finishing out as Superintendent of the Alvarado ISD down the road from us. Also, his early involvement with Rotary as a Principal directed to join by his Superintendent.  He also told of the unusual way he got his initial Paul Harris Fellow Award, given by his club in Atlanta, Texas.

Chester has joined the predominate civic club in each place where he’s been a school superintendent, so he has also been a member of Lions. But he does prefer Rotary, and we are happy he decided to join us in his retirement. Chester’s talk was full of humor and a couple of members remarked they thought he should try his hand at being a stand up comic.
