We had another group flag repair session at the Civic Center on August 30th.
We just had a total of 8 of us working on the 30th, but we had an especially productive time, especially as we had more of us working as the day wore on. By the time we were done, we estimate that we repaired 150 flags and put them in pickups for next day distribution.
We stayed and enjoyed some burgers from Branded Burger just down the street. Thanks to Kim Garey for organizing all this and arranging for the food at the end.
In addition to Kim and her husband Chuck, we had John Piper, Don Ellis, Glade Smith and Denise DelVecchio, and of course I worked and my wife Jane helped me for a couple of hours.
